Equipping young people with the skills and platforms to shape their future || Empowering communities to prevent conflict and strengthen resilience

Our Work

Peacelinks works at the intersection of peacebuilding, youth leadership, and inclusive governance to strengthen communities and prevent conflict. Our approach is rooted in local realities, ensuring that the people most affected are at the center of designing and driving solutions.

Through peacebuilding and conflict prevention, we promote dialogue, mediation, and early action to address tensions before they escalate. Our youth empowerment and leadership work equips young people with the skills, confidence, and platforms to lead change in their communities.

In governance and civic engagement, we strengthen the relationship between citizens and institutions by promoting accountability, transparency, and inclusive participation. Through community development and social cohesion, we bring people together to rebuild trust, foster collaboration, and create shared pathways for sustainable development.

Across all our work, we prioritize participation, inclusion, and long-term impact, ensuring that communities are not just beneficiaries, but active drivers of peace and progress.

Our Strategic Plan

Peacelinks Sierra Leone’s five-year strategic plan (2026–2031) sets out a clear pathway to deepen and scale its impact in peacebuilding, youth leadership, and inclusive governance. Building on over two decades of experience, the strategy prioritizes community-driven approaches, strengthens youth-led initiatives, and expands the use of arts as a tool for healing, dialogue, and social transformation. It also emphasizes evidence-based programming, learning, and adaptation to respond to evolving challenges across Sierra Leone.
